A pulp feed for a paper making machine comprising a nozzle channel or duct for the flow of the pulp or the like and terminating at a movable permeable element. The pulp feed has a first section bounded by a lower lip closer to the permeable element and a more remotely located pivotable upper lip which is adjustable at its edge which is downstream with regard to the flow of the pulp. The pulp feed further includes a second section which is bounded, on the one hand, by the permeable element, and on the other hand, by a pre-lip which merges with the upper lip and is pivotably mounted thereat by means of at least one substantially plug-shaped part. The outlet end of the pre-lip is adjustable in relation to the permeable element. The plug-shaped part is only rotatably mounted at least at two locations which are removed from one another and at the remaining bearing locations the bearing means possesses a displaceability with play in a plane containing an appreciable component in the direction of the surfaces of the upper lip and the pre-lip, respectively, bounding the nozzle channel or duct.

The invention relates to a paper machine design and can be used in the pulp and paper industry.
Mass filling machines of papermaking machines are known, containing a mass pipeline, ending with a movable permeable element, a flow distributor, a lower lip and above the lower lip along the length and a height-adjustable upper lip consisting of a row of ball: Nirno connected guide links, 10 supplied mechanisms of their movement 1.
Since articulated joints have only one degree of freedom, in known devices it is not possible to adjust the mass flow locally.
The purpose of the invention is to obtain a more uniform cross section of the mass layer.
This is achieved by the fact that the external element of the hinge joint of the penultimate one in the course of the mass movement of the guide 20 link is made with parallelly arranged guide planes inclined to the grid of the papermaking machine.

The device comprises a mass pipeline 1, a flow distributor 2, a lower lip 3 and an upper lip consisting of pivotally connected links 4 and 5. The upper and lower lips form a channel 6 ending with a movable permeable element, for example, a perforated grid of a forming cylinder 7 with suction chambers 8, 9, and 10. The upper lip pivots 4 and 5 have lever mechanisms equipped with lever systems 11 and 12. The outer element 13 of link 4 is made with parallelly arranged guide planes 14 and 15 installed obliquely to the papermaking grid. By virtue of these planes, the inner swivel element 16 gains an additional degree of freedom — the ability to move towards the machine screen. This makes it possible locally to regulate the height of the channel 6 and, consequently, the layer of the infused pulp. When the mass-filling device operates, the fiber is fed through the mass pipeline 1 to the flow distributor 2 and enters the height-adjustable channel 6. Due to the possibility of local adjustment of the mass supply, the upper lip can take on a spiral shape that will compensate for the non-uniformity of the current and thereby improve the quality of the cast sheet.
